ABOUT US

SCIpact was founded in 2020 by Michael Bartlett, a Navy Civil Engineer Corps veteran with 28 years of government contracting and project management experience. His goal was to provide sustainable, creative, and impactful solutions for the ever-increasing array of issues facility managers face today from rising energy costs, renewable energy and sustainability trends, cyber threats, lack of resources, and fleet electrification. Shortly thereafter Dan Bakke joined, bringing more than a decade of EVCS and electrical power experience to the company.

SCIpact believes in win-win situations and open communication with all our clients, vendors, and partners. Through our experience working with the federal government, we have developed relationships with numerous fortune 500 companies and federal contractors. These relationships allow us to provide economical and high-quality products and services nationwide to all levels of government (federal, state, and local) as well as commercial and industrial clients.

Leadership

Mike Bartlett
Mike has been a leader, innovator, and driving force for more than 28 years in the federal contracting market both as a customer and contractor. His experience includes managing IDIQs, GSA Schedules, and standalone contracts for energy efficiency projects, renewable energy, and more recently EV charging infrastructure. He has developed and successfully implemented more than $125 million in complex multi-stakeholder performance-based contracts worldwide.

Michael is a former Civil Engineer Corps officer where he held a contracting officers warrant and was decorated and commended for project management and contract administration proficiency. He has managed hundreds of contracts both as a military officer and as a prime contractor and is knowledgeable about federal procurement processes and regulations.

Michael has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and holds the following professional certifications:

Dan Bakke
Dan has more than 15 years of experience in the electrification field and has been a leader in the federal electric vehicle supply equipment market for the last 5 years. He has been a speaker at the annual Energy Exchange conference and numerous other conference and training events across the country.

In addition to his experience with fleet electrification he also currently manages an annual energy budget of $65M for a refrigerated distribution company client. He has implemented over $100M of energy projects for federal and private customers worldwide. CONUS and OCONUS and serves as Treasurer of the board his local Co-Op Energy Company.

Dan has an MBA from the University of California with a focus on Sustainability as well as three degrees from the University of Minnesota. He is also fluent in Spanish.
